Pickle is in Heaven- Sept 12 08

Wednesday at the park I saw a little boy that I watch at church and I started talking with his dad. Turns out that he is a fireman in our home town. He kindly invited us to visit the fire station near our house. Pickle was extremely excited. When we 1st arrived, Pickle clammed up and became shy. He pretended like he was not interested and got quiet. When Firefighter Shannon started showing him his gear, Pickle started to be less shy and told F.F. Shannon about his gear at home. The firefighters even offered to take us on a ride in the truck but when we got in the truck, Pickle wanted out. Could it be because of the firetruck ride he want on at the fair?? LOL! We had a blast. Dan is considering becoming a firefighter volunteer!! Quite exciting. Even better, we have may have found new friends in Shannon and his wife.
