I adore this photo of Pookie. It was taken by a dear friend of mine last summer at sundown on the beach. This is the original here.I'd like to add a bit more contrast, color and in general, give it more life. It looks a bit washed out. However, I am having so much trouble with it. No matter how I edit it the colors are either too red, yellow and not really brightening in anyway. I do not have a fancy editing program. I will just keep working with it. Here is what I have so far.
Ok, so I took a break and here I am a few hours later and I am much happier with where I am going with this photo. Here is where I am now: 
I know I have SO much more to learn, but I am having orgasmic amounts of fun.
